>> good morning. i'm mindy basara. >> and i'm stan stovall. thanks for joining us for 11 news today. >> really foggy and dense. >> it is humid and it feels like summer. fog.'s some pretty thick almost like you cannot see in front of your car. some showers popping up on the top right-hand corner of your screen. that will last for about 30 or 45 minutes. you can run into drizzle so the streets are wet. the clouds will start to mix out and it will be unseasonably warm with highs in the upper 70's and low 80's. we will check the seven-day forecast going all the way into the weekend. first we say good morning to sarah. >> good morning.

we will see what happens in terms of the fog and the rain. we have one problem in fallston. closures in the fact. 65 coming down towards route 24 in harford county. everything running smoothly on 295 down towards 197. it will take you 10 minutes to travel south on 95 from the beltway to 32. here's a quick, live look at traffic. you can see the roads are wet. 83 at york road checking out ok in terms of delays. the j.f.x. and ruxton road, no problems to report. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> after 161 games, the

head. >> they said he was faking because he didn't want to go to trial. that is not true. he was handcuffed and suffered and he died. we want these officers fired. we want them arrested and we want them convicted. if it was a normal citizen that committed homicide, they would be behind bars. >> the officers have been suspended. anderson's family said they will file a wrongful death sentence against the police. >> a woman was abducted on monday. police say kenyon waller and william campbell pulled up alongside the victim and forster inside the vehicle. then they assaulted her.

police say campbell is also responsible for an adoption of a woman in that area last tuesday. >> we believe these cases are connected. the pattern is almost identical. both victims were accosted in virtually the same place. they had both gone off at the same bus stop at were forced into a ford suv. the descriptions of the vehicle are the same in both cases. >> both are being held without bail. a 17-year-old is charged in the stabbing of someone at a high school. he was arrested on first-degree murder for the attacks on monday morning. >> a reprieve saves a fire engine company from the chopping block. jennifer franciotti joins us live with details on how trucked

you can see some thick fog. the visibility is down to about a quarter of a mile in some neighborhoods. there is some drizzle out there as well. even some rain showers. you can see some rain showers going across parts of cecil county on the eastern shore. we'll start with low clouds and fog and drizzle and maybe some rain showers. then i think some sunshine will break through later this afternoon. a slight chance for a shower. high temperature near 81. when we come back, we can we cawe will check the seven-day forecast going all the way into the weekend. >> pennsylvania's controversial voter i.d. act will not have any

welcome back to 11 news today. i'm stan stovall. >> and i'm mindy basara. thanks for joining us for 11 news today. it is a murky morning. >> it is thick in some areas. keep in mind you could run into one of those areas where the visibility is down to a quarter of a mile. most of the grain is moving east of baltimore. you could see some showers on the eastern shore. nothing around baltimore. a mixture of sun and clouds. it will be a warm and humid. high temperature near 81 degrees. it will stay in the 70's in the northern suburbs. the average high is now 71. >> you had a fog bank and the visibility goes down. >> leave early.

that is our best advice. take it slow. one problem along harford road. it is closed near 152 because of a downed tree. 64 on southbound 83. 50 and southbound 95 towards the toll plaza. moving well at the harbor tunnel tolls. eight minutes down to the 83's. about 10 minutes south on 95 from the beltway down towards 32. here's a quick, live look at traffic. here's a look at the fog. still moving well down towards the west side of the beltway. 70 is doing well in terms of fog. you'll find some have the fog in areas. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11.

cosmetic surgery is expanding. state health officials shut down the center after three patients contracted infections and one person died. the company has locations in other states. they are joining with maryland officials to investigate. right now no additional maryland cases have been identified. >> charges are pending against a man after more than 40 animals were seized from his pasadena home. there was an anonymous tip that he was not taking care of the animals. the rescue animals were well taken care of. officials were called to the home back in august and removed

raccoons and skunks. >> most of the animals did not have access to fresh food or water. for those that did have access to water, it was not palatable water. >> tonight neglect them -- did i neglect them? no. my neighbors would tell you they have seen it all day long taking care of the animals. >> we're told the confiscated animals are being placed in new homes. >> it is recommended that towson cut their soccer and baseball teams. the school and athletic director said the plant is to reconfigure the entire athletics department and reinstating the tennis program. the changes could save the

been neglected or abused. thehere with the ceo of children's home. this is a neat event. how many residents do you have? >> about 55 residents. >> they do stay up to about a year. >> we operate about three different programs on the campus. we have a program for boys and girls. we do long term group home. we have a diagnostic program just for girls. >> the main goal is to get them out reunited with their families. >> we try to provide a nurturing environment, working with our case manager and our staff to help the kids rebound from some of the troubled situations in their family.
